Conference Program Outline
 

All sessions on Saturday, 15th March, 2008 and Sunday, 16th March, 2008 will take place at the Conference Centre of the University of Hull.
 
Information for Speakers: 
All talks in the parallel sessions also includes time for setting up and any questions.

The conference room will be provided with an Overhead Projector and also a PC with a data projector that will enable Powerpoint or pdf files to be presented. Speakers may also use their own laptop computers and connect to the data projector.

ICONS Award:
One of the highlights of the International Conference of Nigerian Students (ICONS) is the ICONS Award Ceremony which takes place on the night of the Buffet Dinner. The profiles of those who received the awards during ICONS 2007 are available on the conference website.

Hence nominations are requested from anyone to recognise a Nigerian student who deserve to receive the ICONS AWARD for 2008. Five (5) Awards will be presented to five students who have shown outstanding achievements, excellence, developed invaluable skills and contributed immensely to their community at home and abroad for the duration of their study (so far). A panel will choose from the list of nominees we receive and the winners will be informed well in advance of the conference. Deadline for nominations is Monday, the 3rd of March, 2008 at 4.00pm.

To nominate: Please send a detailed CV ( Not more than four pages) and a cover letter (not more than two pages) to the Director of Protocols and Logistics, Xn Foundation, Bamidele Adebisi at b.adebisi@xnfoundation.org.
